Back of the Cupboard

My good friend Lynda Wilson and I are having a exhibition which opens this weekend at the Combined Artist Studios in Raglan. If you fancy breakfast at the beach Saturday morning, swing on by for the opening at 11am - 1pm. Love to see you there!!

ALSO big thanks to Thomas James for featuring me on the 'Illustration Age' blog today!! It was a lovely surprise!

A splendid evening

The Greenslade Gallery 'Garden Party Exhibition' opened last thursday night. It was very well attended - so much so I had to wait for people to clear out before I could take photos of anything. The house is a work of art in itself! It was really great to see so many variations on the theme by some great artists. I feel very privileged to be part of it!  To top off the night a jazz band was playing on the porch and club sandwiches and treats were served on platters in the garden. A lovely way to spend an evening!

If you would like to go and check it out before it closes on the 31st March, the gallery is open Wednesdays 10am - 4pm and Thursdays 10am-6pm. (1 Wellington St, Hamilton).

Garden Party Exhibition

I have 3 works in the 'Garden Party' group exhibition at the Greenslade Gallery. The show opens this evening at 7pm and there will be a jazz band and club sandwiches on the go!

If you cant make it tonight the gallery is open Wednesdays 10am - 4pm and Thursdays 10am - 6pm. The exhibition runs from today till the 31st of March 2011. Hope to see you there!

King St Drawings & Process

At last I can reveal my friends at King St Advertisng have launched their BRAND NEW WEBSITE! Last year they asked me if I would do some illustrations around the concept of 'what you might encounter on a journey around town'. After submitting numerous sketches they selected a few and had them animated to create a super new website! It was a great project to work on and I love how the birds and postman were animated. Check out more about King St and the awesome work they do here.
