Here is a couple of illustrations I recently made for AKO magazine. The article was about students and teachers from NZ schools in rural or remote locations overcoming their isolation by using online communities and education to provide a rich and varied curriculum and meaningful connections. I created an illustration all about the different styles of kitchen and cook for the latest homestyle magazine.
The latest issue of idealog magazine is out on the shelves with six of my illustrations. Along with all the usual digestible reading, the cover topic this issue is 'Should you work for free?' which is a question I have been asked by many students and fellow creatives. Its good to hear opinions by Greg Straight and Kelly Thompson on this topic - awesome cover illustration by Greg too! The latest homestyle magazine is on the shelves and this issue I got the chance to illustrate a full feature about building your dream home. Having gone through the building experience this was fun to think about the different stages and remember what it was like to look at elevations and floor plans.
