I had the great privilege to photograph Scott Woolston and his awesome creations for Remnant Furniture for the latest issue of Nourish Magazine. More from that shoot HERE. It was so inspiring to see his creativity and craftsmanship in action from the workshop to his home. Scott uses a variety of found and recycled timbers to create beautiful handmade furniture and kitchens. He made the cafe furniture for Milk & Honey cafe - who I have blogged about before. Do check out more of his work on this website www.remnant.co.nz
Singapore - Animals
During our recent visit to Singapore we got the chance to see the night safari and daytime zoo, where I got to relive my childhood dream of being a wild life photographer! (- what child/adult doesn't dream of working for National Geographic or WWF?). The great thing about this zoo is they really make it feel like there is nothing separating you from the animals - which is pretty special I think. Along the way I found so many great characters and excellent drawing reference subjects. Check out my photography section for more.
Your Home & Garden Magazine
I have some photographs in this months issue of Your Home & Garden Magazine. There were lots of delicious wall papers and fabrics to drool over! You can get your copy and read all about it here or at your local stationary store. Thanks to Your Home & Garden and Gael for the opportunity!
Urban Show Home
I recently completed a series of images promoting the new Show Home 'Serrano' for Urban Residential Developments. (Previously I had worked on there building portfolio). It was great to work with these guys once again and this show home is sure to leave jaws dropping. Its beautifully made and show cases a lot of great ideas - a hall way aquarium, stunning bathroom ideas and stone outdoor fireplaces to name a few. Its open to the public this weekend so be sure to check it out if your in the neighborhood. More details here.

Rustic Beauty
I had the privilege of photographing the beautiful home of the Jeffery family in the April issue of Your Home & Garden Magazine. Everywhere I looked there were beautiful things to photograph - especially a lovely black labrador, Benson who became my assistant for the day! :)
I've spent the past week trying to sort out life after our long stays in Hong Kong. Think Im almost up to speed. Among other things I am currently working on pieces for my first little solo illustration show coming up in May... eek! - hope to have some process to show you soon...
Check out these beautiful embroidery book covers by illustrator Jillian Tamaki - just stunning!
